KAINE LEVY

Producer

Running his own production company for over 6 years now, Kaine has produced everything from short films and music videos, to feature films and television.

His latest short film, "The Seditionist", was an ambitious sci-fi thriller which brought a vivid dystopia to the big screen, and saw success internationally at film festivals.

A writer and director in his own right, Kaine brings all his creative experience of filmmaking to the table to help realise director Dimiter Dimitroff’s vision.

DIMITER DIMITROFF

Writer, Director

From the tender age of eight, Dimiter began shooting short films on his parents’ camcorder back in his home country of Bulgaria.

His love for cinema helped him pick up the English language, and he has since moved to the UK to work with some of the best and brightest in the industry.

His latest short film “Innocence” made its way to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, and you can be sure “The Afterlife Bureau” will attract just as much attention.

SUE APPLEBY

As "Carmen"

Carmen was 20 when she joined the prestigious Afterlife Bureau. Her initial job consisted of tasks like shredding paper and bringing coffee to executives. She quickly rose through the ranks and became a junior ALB officer at the age of 27.
Now a little older, she’s a confident and experienced full-time agent who has dealt with almost every kind of case there is. She knows Death Law by heart and is incredibly quick behind the typewriter.

GORDON PEASTON

As "Gordon"

If you met Gordon you would say he is the type of guy that has nothing going for him, and you would be right! Gordon was homeschooled until the age of 12, and therefore struggles to make friends.
At 45 he’s had zero romantic relationships, basing his beauty criteria on video games and comic book characters. Despite being able to afford to rent a room, he still lives with his mother. In his desperate solitude, he turns to religion for answers.

RICHARD CUNNINGHAM

As "Michael"

Michael is a supervisor at The Afterlife Bureau, and therefore Carmen's Boss.
At 50-something he has been a part of the Bureau for nearly 30 years. He never secured a higher position than simply 'branch manager' despite being good at his job, which is probably due to his "not suitable for work" demeanour.
Michael is the type of guy that laughs extortionately loudly at his own jokes to the point that you feel so uncomfortable you have to join in!
